Insulin Intensification Summit

The Insulin Intensification Summit was attended by over 400 international diabetologists and endocrinologists at the Auditorium Madrid. Our main brief was to provide a high impact and engaging audio visual solution for plenary session and 3 breakout rooms which had to match the limitations of meeting rooms and within client budget constraints.

April 10th, our brand new Scania truck departed Tapestry Headquarters on its way to Spain, transportation and crew logistics were a major challenge on this event however after clearing customs, the production equipment finally arrives in Spain on April 12th. Two production managers were onsite to ensure safe arrival of equipment and oversee any potential issues, another 10 crew arrived at Madrid Airport later that day.

The Plenary session was in Superwidescreen format, this involved developing title slides and branded animation, created by our in house graphics studio. Live camera relay for picture in picture shots on the widescreen.

There were three simultaneous breakouts and each room required a fully branded and unique stage set. Tapestry designed and created three set designs which complied with corporate branding guidelines and enlivened the meeting rooms.

Due to the challenging layouts of the proposed rooms, we had to provide to-scale plans and visuals to ensure that stage,set,chairs and delegates could all fit within the function rooms in the desired location. This event involved initial site visits, regular conference telephone calls with clients, follow up meetings and cost management to ensure no budget overruns and of course managing transportation and crew logistics.

Following the event, our studio created a variety of clips for internal client events, based on footage captured at the conference and duplicated dvds for all delegates.

The conference was an outstanding success, the client and speakers were delighted with the outcome of the event, the show ran incredibly smoothly with absolutely no hitches, we even had speakers thanking the crew for their professionalism.
