Acergy UK Offshore Summit

For the second of two offshore seminars for 300 international delegates at the Fairmont St Andrews Hotel, TapestryAV were asked to ramp up the technology. It was the prospect of our fantastic Superwidescreen system coupled with some highly creative content generated in 3D at our Production studio which attracted Acergy.

We were asked to produce a highly creative two day briefing and educational event for Acergy UK, a leader in seabed-to-surface engineering and construction for the offshore oil and gas industry worldwide.

The client wanted something different from the norm, since not only were all the attendees technical people but the subjects discussed also technical. They thus felt it was right to have a backdrop which could literally change at the press of a button. The ability to have multiple presentations on screen simultaneously, and the capability to alter the look and feel of the set through simple changes in both backgrounds and layouts was the attraction. In our studio we generated virtual contend in full 3D with animated worlds rendered to fill our Superwidescreen Canvas – This coupled with a high impact Superwidescreen opening sequence and themed awards backgrounds really wowed all in attendance.
