Hilton Foundation Ball

A fantastic night was had by all who attended the Hilton Foundation Ball which took place on 19th September 2009 at the Hilton Glasgow. Tapestry is proud to support the Hilton Foundation Charity and was a main sponsor of the evening.

For this prestigious event we provided our fantastic Superwidescreen system. The blended projection was undertaken from our stock Christie HD18K projectors providing bright, vivid graphics on screen. Control was handled from our new Vista Spyder 359 graphics processor with blended widescreen and 4 relay screens under the complete control of  this single processor.

Our graphics studio did a sterling job with the content. We created the content for the show from scratch in our multimedia studio and the creative team added that extra sparkle required for a memorable event. Sources on the night included live camera from our solid state HD cameras and HD content relayed on our own media server. The content looked great on screen and a simple backdrop elegantly lit with LED lighting fixtures complimented the screens perfectly.

Hosted by Suzie Mcguire from Clyde1 FM, the event was a night full of fund raising fun. Two lucky people won fabulous prize giveaways including a Fiat Panda and Diamond jewellery.  The total funds raised on the night of £75,000.00 which all goes to the Foundation to be distributed amongst it’s supporting charities.

After dinner  entertainment was provide from the band “Vienna” and party DJ Greg Summers. A great night was had by all. Well done Hilton Glasgow – A great night for a worthy cause.
