A successful year…
Bucking the trend in the industry Tapestry has seen another busy year. Despite the current economic situation we have seen continued growth throughout 2009. There were no lay-offs this year from Tapestry – in fact we employed more staff to aid with our current and future business commitments. During the last 12 months we have seen our turnover increase and have further invested in our equipment inventory and personnel. 2010 looks like another busy year with several large events scheduled in the 1st quarter of 2010 including one or two large events in Europe. Tapestry fills the GAP
In October Tapestry secured an event for GAP Europe at the Fairmont St Andrews Scotland Hotel. The event which ran over 3 days involved a conference, sales meeting, fashion show and awards night. GAP had exclusive use of the venue for the duration of the event and it was a resounding success for all involved.
Tapestry provided all the equipment and production services for the entire event involving 8 crew on site for the duration. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at GAP, not only for choosing Tapestry but also for being such great fun to work with. We look forward to working with you again in the future.
Beside the seaside
The Tapestry crew went on the road again and travelled down to the Hilton Brighton Metropole to provide the technical equipment and production services for a charity ball for 600. The dinner was organised as a fund raiser and attended by a star studied audience from all over the UK including sports personalities and TV stars. It was a good run for the new 18 Tonne Truck which was recently added to our logistics fleet.
All funds raised on the night were donated to Water Aid, NSPCC and the RNLI and a fun night was had by all in attendance.
The content and pre-production for the evening was handled by our in-house team of graphic professionals. Location filming and editing of necessary clips were shot in advance and delivered in full HD for playback on the night. Theming slides and all digital graphic content was designed and produced in house to deliver a truly memorable event.
